Giant Robot is proud to present Printed Matter 6 at <a href="http://www.gr2.net/artshow.php#">GR2</a>.

The latest installment of the popular Printed Matter series of art shows will feature nearly 50 artists with a wide variety of aesthetic styles and printmaking techniques. Limited-edition prints are one of the best ways for budget-minded and new collectors to acquire artwork and support independent artists, and we are committed to providing this venue on a recurring basis.
A reception featuring many of the artists will take place from 6:30 - 10:00 on Saturday, July 11. For more information about the opening, the artists, GR2, or Giant Robot magazine, please contact GR2.

I just recently finished commission piece for Talula's birthday who is turning

Los Angeles Animal Services (LAAS) West LA Shelter will be bringing dogs available for adoption to GR2 for this opening with hopes of matching them up with new owners!
Also, I'll be participating in a show titled <i>Creatures Big and Small</i> in Murray State University this coming October, which I'm looking forward to as well!
Thanks to all that made it out to <a href="http://www.stoked.org">STOKED Sessions LA</a> Saturday night as well as to the Mentoring on Sunday. I'll be posting a few photos from that event. I was so glad that <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/unicornhsiung/3463992214/in/photostream/">my piece</a> was sold for charity!
In addition, I wanted to thank all those who made it down to Santa Fe Art Colony Open Studios Saturday as well to purchase collaborative pieces I did with artists <a href="http://www.gyanshrosbree.com/">Gyan Shrosbree </a>and <a href="http://www.christinamuraczewski.com/">Christina Muraczewski</a>! They were very generous in using their studio space for the show!

I'm participating in <a href="http://www.stoked.org/">STOKED Session Auction</a> and Mentoring Event coming up May 2-3, 2009. Saturday May 2nd the event takes place 7-11 pm and the Sunday Mentoring day is from 12-5 pm. I'll be there for both events. The piece I donated is a mix media piece - pen on paper, glue, acrylic paint on wood - <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/unicornhsiung/3463992214/in/photostream/">click here</a>.
